Major League Wings and Roast Beef

Earlier this week, we were looking to grab a quick bite to eat before doing out last minute New Years Food Shopping. We ended up trying Major League Wings and Roast Beef on RT 20 in Auburn.

Appearance: A small place done right. Where you walk up to the counter to order is a line of seats from Fenway Park. The restaurant has about 20 booths and tables combined. The walls are covered with Pictures of Boston Sports for sale through Sports Treasures located in the Emerald Square Mall.

Food: The menu consists of sandwich's, burgers, dogs, soups and chicken wings in about 15 different flavors. My son had the chicken finger and fries kids meal. My wife tried the Chicken Cordon Blue sandwich which was very good. I had to try a couple of things, so I ordered the Philly steak bomb combo, and a Jr Roast beef sandwich. The Steak bomb (onions mushrooms, and Jalapenos) was excellent, and as the combo came with fries, onion rigs and cold slaw. The Jr roast beef I had topped with lettuce, onions, pickles and horseradish was so good. We also had a fresh half sour pickle sliced up to share. for drinks all they have is a cooler of assorted soda's milk's and juices all for the same price $1.99.

Value: The serving sizes are enormous, and for small coin. Our total bill was under $30. Most sandwich's were around $6, and combos were a few dollars more.

Service: You order at a counter, and they bring your food to your table for you. The young lady that took our order was very pleasant, and the waitress that delivered it to our table was very personable, joking with us.

I would defiantly recommend Major League to anyone looking for a quick sandwich, or wings. I will be heading back some time for some wings.
